Zebra Barcode Printer Cannot Print

Zebra Barcode Printer Cannot Print

When we use Zebra in the barcode printer, there is often no response failure after pressing the print button, so how should we deal with this situation?

Many friends who are not familiar with printers may think that the printer is broken, but this is not the case. The following examples are the common faults that Zebra barcode printers cannot print. Take this as an example and hope it will be helpful to everyone.

 1. One of the most common failures of Zebra barcode printers is that the printer reports an error, and there will be various prompts on it, such as RIBBONOUT and PAPEROUT waiting on the panel.

The problem with this is that you cannot measure paper and ribbon failure. When this problem occurs, the first thing you want to do is to see if the label and ribbon are installed correctly. If it still doesn’t work after eliminating the above problems, then the Zebra barcode printer should perform advanced calibration on the label. If it still doesn’t work, you can restore the factory settings of the printer after knowing the printer parameter settings.

After the above method is used, the error is still reported, which is estimated to be a hardware problem. Please check whether there is dust on the label sensor and ribbon sensor, which can be cleaned with denatured alcohol. If this method still does not work, it is estimated that the main board of the barcode printer is broken.

2. The second common failure of the Zebra barcode printer is that the printer does not respond after printing, and there is no prompt on the printer screen. It is normal to feed the paper after pressing the paper button, which means that the printer does not report an error and the printer is good, and then the computer interface and data cable. If these two faults are excluded, the motherboard of the barcode printer will definitely be broken.

3. The third common failure of Zebra barcode printers is that the printer does not light up, the backlight of the screen is on, and the others do not respond. In our professional terminology, the main board does not light up. The only reason for the failure is that the chip on the main board of the printer is burned or short-circuited. The printer power board was working, so it was determined that the main board was bad.

4. The fourth common fault of Zebra barcode printers is that the printer does not light up, and the screen is completely black. The fault is that the power board is broken, and only one power board is shorted.
