Evolis Printhead Warranty Regulations

The warranty regulations for Evolis printheads are as follows:

  1. Follow the cleaning cycle:

For Zenius, Primacy, Pebble3, Pebble4, and Dualys3 printers, the control panel light will flash yellow after every 1000 inserted cards, indicating the need for cleaning.

Failure to clean the printer on time, exceeding the cleaning cycle of 1000 cards, will result in the cancellation of printhead warranty.

For Quantum printers, if the total number of prints exceeds 2000 cards between two cleaning cycles, the printhead warranty will be canceled.

It is recommended to clean the printer every time a ribbon is changed, and only original ribbons must be used.

Cleaning method: Go to Start > Printers and Fax, find the relevant Evolis printer, right-click > Properties > Tools > click on Printer Self Cleaning.

Evolis Printer Cleaning Kit

  1. Avoid severe collision damage: Printheads must not have severe collision damage, or else the printhead warranty will be canceled.
  2. Return damaged printhead and one printed Stt card: It is mandatory to return the damaged printhead along with one printed Stt card from the respective machine for warranty claims.
  3. Do not tamper with screws: There is a screw with green paint on the printhead which must not be tampered with. Unauthorized tampering will result in the cancellation of printhead warranty.
  4. Use of original ribbons: Only Evolis original ribbons must be used. The printhead warranty will be canceled if non-original ribbons are used.
