I was looking for a product that would remove the sticky coating on the dash control knobs of my automobile. Apparently, automotive manufacturers have recently added a clear coating to various steering wheel and dash buttons/knobs to make them feel “soft” to the touch for the user. Well, this coating over time along with heat can turn this coating into a sticky to the touch mess. This product, due to its high isopropyl alcohol concentration in my opinion, is very effective in removing this sticky coating leaving a clean plastic button/knob. It did not dissolve the white images/lettering on the buttons/knobs. Takes a little elbow grease and patients, but better than replacing all the parts.
