How To Clean Your Printer Rollers?

2. Use of cleaning kits
1. First open the printer and take out the ribbon.
2. Tear off the packing bag and put the cleaning card into the card input box of the printer. 3. Open the properties of the card printer driver; Device Settings.
4. Select the Tools tab and click the Printer Cleaning button to clean.
6. Take out the cleaning cotton swab, squeeze the cotton swab stick, and let the liquid flow out to the head of the cotton swab.
7. Use a cleaning swab to gently wipe the print head of the printer (wipe in one direction).
8. Wait for the liquid to dry and the body cleaning is complete.
Notice? The cleaning process requires two cleaning cards. A cleaning card is the same size as a general plastic card, we call it a “cleaning card”. The other card is larger and wider at one end, we call it the “Long Cleaning Card“.
How do you remove ink from printer rollers?
1. Leave the printer powered on, or turn it on if it is not on.
2. The cleaning process can be started in one of the following ways:
Press and hold the printer’s panel button for a few seconds until the message REMOVE RIBBONTHEN CLOSE HEAD appears on the LCD.
Go to the P330i Printer Tools software from your computer and click the CLEAN button. The LCD will display the REMOVE RIBBON THEN CLOSE HEAD message.
3. Open the main cover, release the print head holder, and then remove the ribbon. Close the printhead holder. The LCD panel will display EMPTY FEEDER&PRESS BUTTON (clear Empty feeder and button pressed) message.
4. Open the card feeder cover, and then remove the card from the card feeder. The last card is difficult to remove and can be left in the feeder. Press the panel button on the front of the printer. Cards left in the feeder will be ejected. The LCD panel will display the message LOAD CLEANING CARD IN FEEDER.
5. Place the cleaning card pre-soaked in detergent into the card feeder. The cleaning card will be automatically fed into the printer and the cleaning process will start
(After the cleaning card is fed in, there is a delay of a few seconds before the cleaning move operation begins). During the cleaning process, the LCD will display the message CLEANING PRINTER.
6. When this part of the cleaning process is complete, the cleaning card will eject and the LCD will display the message PRESS EUTTONTO CONTINUE.
7. After the user presses the panel button, the LCD will display the message FEED LONG CLEANING CARD IN EXIT. Insert the longer end of the long cleaning card into the card exit (located directly above the output hopper). When the user inserts a “regular” cleaning card into the card outlet, the LCD will display INVALID
CARD, PRESS BUTTON (card incorrect, button pressed) message until the user presses the panel button and inserts a long card into the card outlet.
8. The long cleaning card will be automatically fed into the printer and the printing process will begin. The LCD will display the CLEAN PRINTER message again.
9. When the cleaning process is complete, the long cleaning card will pop out and the LCD will display a READY message, indicating that the printer is ready to resume normal printing operations.

Notice? If the user does nothing at this point (for example, no long cleaning card inserted), the LCD will change to display CLEAN PRINTER after the timeout. The printer can print, but the LCD will continue to display CLEAN PRINTER. This limited cleaning process does not perform a thorough cleaning, but it can be done without the “Long Cleaning Card”.
To return the display to READY requires the user to perform the complete cleaning process from step 2 above through step 9 below using both the long and short cleaning cards.
