Do not turn off the power of the printer when it is exposed near the print head, but to ensure stability. We recommend that you turn off the power. If the power is turned off, the user will lose temporary settings such as label formats and must reload these settings before resuming printing.
2. Only the designated cleaning agent should be used.

Steps to clean the barcode printer card:

1. Turn the power switch to the “ON ( | )” position, then press and hold the multi-function button for 5 seconds.
2. At the beginning of cleaning, the message REMOVE RIBBON THEN CLOSE LID will appear on the LCD.
3. After the ribbon is taken out and the cover is closed, the message EMPTY FEEDER THEN CLOSE COVER will be displayed.
4. If the lid is opened without removing the ribbon and then closed, the REMOVERIBBON THEN CLOSE LID message will continue to be displayed.
5. After removing the ribbon and closing the cover, the firmware will eject the unique card in the printer. The audio EJECTING CARD will be displayed.
6. The LCD will then show FEED LONG CLEANING CARD . In response to a cleaning card, the rollers feed the card into the printer.
7. When the card ejection sensor no longer detects the long cleaning card, the message INSERT FEEDER CLEANING CARD will be displayed. Open the feeder cover and insert the feeder cleaning card.
