Classification introduction of non-contact IC card and contact IC
Non-contact IC card, also known as radio frequency card, is composed of IC chip and induction antenna, which are packaged in a standard PVC card, and the chip and antenna have no exposed parts. It successfully combines radio frequency identification technology and IC card technology, which ends the problem of passive (no power supply in the card) and contact-free, and is a major breakthrough in the field of electronic devices. The card is close to the surface of the reader at a certain distance (usually 5-10cm), and the data reading and writing operations are completed through the transmission of radio waves.
Contactless IC cards:
1). Radio frequency encryption (RF ID)—ID card. The information access of the radio frequency card is accomplished through radio waves. There are no mechanical points of contact between the host and the RF. Such as HID, INDARA, TI, EM, etc. The meal card (thicker) and access control card used by most campuses are ID cards.
2). Radio frequency memory card (RF IC)—–non-contact IC card. Radio frequency memory cards also access information by radio. It increases the radio frequency transceiver circuit on the basis of the memory card. Such as MIFARE ONE. The bus cards used in some cities in the early days, and the meal cards and hot water cards used in some campuses are radio frequency memory cards.
3). The radio frequency CPU card (RF CPU)—–an active card, which adds a radio frequency transceiver circuit on the basis of the CPU card. The non-contact IC card chip is encapsulated in PVC material, and the radio wave of the chip in the card can be remotely sensed with the card reading device to read the data.
